Making a 3rd Sledge

As you most often need 3 wagons/sledges in wargaming scenarios I decided to use the Perry RN 34 Single horse peasant/ Cossack wagon to build me a 3rd sledge...

Here are some pictures of the progress so far...

  1. Very nice! I'm quite jealous as I never have the patience to do such not directly military stuff. Thumbs up so far.

  3. Excellent looking conversion under way.
By the way i have been wondering about some small actions from the Swedish invasion of Norway in 1809 do you think Songs of Shakos or Muskets and Thomahawks would give any service for gaming actions like Trangen ?
    cheers

    1. Hi Alan

I absolutely thing that Song of Drum and Shako or Muskets and Tomahawks would work perfect for some 1809 gaming, have cinsidering using them for some Finland 1808 games my self, but I cant find any good looking 28mm minsi to use as Swedes.

Please checkout Nothtern Wargaming blog they are running some 28mm Napoleonic games using SoDS. http://northern-wargaming.blogspot.se/search/label/Song%20of%20Drums%20and%20Shakos

  4. Superb. You also get to have lots of spare wheels left over which come in handy for scenery pieces.
